Weekly mini paintings! + changing my substack offerings structure
What you can expect as a subscriber plus a chance to score a mini original painting every week
Hello dear readers! I hope that summer in the northern hemisphere is treating you well, that you are staying cool and enjoying the bounty of this sunny season. I hope my southern hemisphere friends are finding rich sustenance in the quiet cozy darker days of the year. Such a reminder that always two sides of life are in existence at once. Light and dark, cold and hot, summer and winter.
I’m writing to you all today with some announcements around my offerings here. A few weeks ago I started creating one mini painting a week. The hope is that I can share more of my process from beginning to end with you all, and the mini format makes that more doable because it is much faster to create a watercolor piece on a smaller scale. Each week I will be sharing the mini painting with paid subscribers here first, and then the video of how it came into creation via my instagram page a few days later. The painting will be available to purchase first to my paid substack subscribers, and then open to the public when I share the process video on social media.
New Substack Structure:
For paid subscribers and free subscribers, I am switching up my offerings a bit! More of my general art tricks and tools, practices and habits will be shared with ALL subscribers. Paid subscribers will get a special artist interview post once a month + a 15% off discount code to my print shop that you can use as many times as you’d like! Plus first dibs on purchasing the weekly mini paintings.
This feels like a more substantial offering to those who can financially invest in my newsletter, and a way for me to show my deepest gratitude to you all for doing so. The more financial support I have here, the more ability and space I have to share. Free subscribers will still get great access to learning more about my art practice and what it’s like to be a creative entrepreneur.
Thank you all for being here and for subscribing and taking interest in my work. I am so grateful to have a platform like this to share and learn together within. Substack has such a great community, filled with intentional and caring content from so many talented writers and creators. I’m excited to deepen into this space with you all.
