Wellness + Nourishment: Meet Sarah Britton of My New Roots
An interview with the inspiring creator of nourishing food and health wisdom.
Hello dear readers! I am writing to you all from quite a dreary afternoon here in Virginia. We are getting hit with some tropical storm kinds of rain for the next several days, but I really can’t complain because we’ve had so many sunny skies these past few weeks. I am sure my garden will be grateful for the extra hydration, and I am grateful to be cozied up in the dry indoors with a cup of matcha, writing to you all.
Thank you so much for joining if you are new here! I am delighted to share these monthly interviews, and hope that you find them as inspiring as I do. Just a reminder that next month will be a unique one for my substack posts and instead of sharing mini paintings and interviews per usual, I’ll be reporting to you all from my residency at Villa Lena in Tuscany. It’s truly a dream come true kind of opportunity and I am excited to share some of the highlights of my time with you all here. More updates following this interview, but for now let me introduce you to my incredible guest this month- the most lovely and bright Sarah Britton. Sarah is a holistic nutritionist and chef, and is the founder of My New Roots, a platform that focuses on healthy food and holistic mindful living. I came across Sarah’s work way back in the early blog days, stumbling across a lot of incredible plant-based recipes through her site and then continuing to follow along and purchase ALL of her cookbooks. I am a super fan for sure :) She shares such a beautiful and intentional way of being alive, always highlighting nature and the seasons. I find a lot of resonance and inspiration in the way that she chooses to live and how she shares her gifts with the world.
