Thank you for sharing about your process with this piece! Loved hearing about your mindfulness journey and how it has supported/fueled your creative practice. I live with some very difficult to manage chronic health symptoms, and mindfulness is one of the few therapies that has provided me with the most relief. I found this read so uplifting and it such a good reminder of how meditation can support my journey, shifting my perspective in subtle ways that add up to meaningful change.

I have a hard time staying present but on the rare occasions when I was able to be mindful, I felt more connected to the world around me and more clarity. And ideas began to flow. Most articles talked about how to be present but I was able to write a poem about how it feels to be mindful to write about those wonderful moments. Your paintings speak a thousand words!
